Continental AG Selects Global Telecom & Technology (GTT) for North American Mobility Solution Expansion

German Multi-National Leverages GTT’s Global Reach, Multi-Carrier Approach

MCLEAN, Va., and London, U.K., January 16, 2007 – Global Telecom & Technology, Inc.
(“GTT”), (OTCBB: GTLT), a global Multi-Network Operator (MNO), today announced that
Continental AG (“Continental”), (GR: CON), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of
automotive parts, has awarded a contract to GTT to extend its managed mobility platform to its
North American Telematics facilities with Continental’s global managed mobility platform
provided by GTT earlier this year .

The contract is the latest in a series of recent projects GTT has undertaken for the German-based
multi-national corporation and is representative of the contracts GTT is targeting because it
leverages GTT’s expertise in mobility, data connectivity and carrier-neutral solution design.

Mike Keenan, Chief Executive Officer of GTT, commented, “For global enterprises such as
Continental, we have grown by proving ourselves through a few initial projects that are smaller in
scope and then gaining credibility. The reward in such cases is additional business for GTT.
GTT’s services are ideal for enterprises such as Continental as they provide carrier-neutral and
technology-neutral solutions and then take the service one step further than most alternative
providers – after provisioning, we manage the mobility services end-to-end on our customer’s
behalf.”

The award comes shortly after GTT formed as the result of the combination of U.S. based Global
Internetworking and U.K. based European Telecommunications & Technology. The new service
to be provided to Continental is the result of a joint effort between GTT’s U.S. and European
operations in which the solution design was developed using GTT’s proprietary network design
and pricing software, CMDTM. This latest award builds upon an existing contract between
Continental and GTT’s Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) business unit.

Chris Britton, GTT’s Executive Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Asia, said, "Coming
less than 90 days after GTT was formed, this win demonstrates we are building a better kind of
service provider – one that offers enterprise customers world-class account support on a global
scale and delivers end-to-end, carrier-neutral solutions built around their business requirements. I
am very pleased to see how our newly integrated company worked together to identify, create and
communicate the service solution to Continental. It is proof that our integration efforts are
working and that the vision we had of global cross-selling is materializing.”

Christian Preiss, Head of Networks and Communications for the Automotive Systems division at
Continental AG said: “Continental depends on the combined global expertise of its employees to
serve its customers, so our enterprise data network is a key enabler of our success. We have been
impressed with GTT’s ability to design and deliver reliable managed enterprise mobility
solutions on a global scale for our users. While we have used GTT for mission critical
requirements in the past, this is the first time that we have turned to them for our North American
requirements for professional travelers and other mobile users.”
